🚀 Tappy Turd is in Open Beta!

The wait is over! After months of rigorous testing, balancing tweaks, and countless hours of exterminating bugs (and sewer flies), Tappy Turd is officially in Open Beta for the world to play. We still have lots to do, but we are thrilled to invite you into the sewer!

What's New in v1.0?

1. The Daily Competition Engine (Coming Soon)

The biggest feature of the launch is our brand-new competitive leaderboard system. We aren't just tracking high scores for bragging rights anymore. Very soon, the first 100 people on the Daily Leaderboard will get entered into a random draw for a real-world prize! There will also be a monthly draw for an exclusive T-shirt, and a separate Winners draw that comes right after the TopTurd T-shirt draw. Plus, look out for our seasonal draws (prizes to be determined)! We've integrated a robust anti-cheat system to ensure all scores are legitimate.

2. The Grand Skin Expansion

We have completely overhauled the in-game shop. There are now over 40 distinct character skins to unlock using the coins you collect from defeated sewer flies. From the majestic Pharaoh to the terrifying Slasher, there is a skin for everyone. We've also added the mysterious "Shapeshifter" unlock logic for the true completionists.

What's Next?

This is just the beginning. We are already hard at work on the next major patch, which will introduce brand new power-ups, entirely new environments (say goodbye to the sewer and hello to the toxic waste plant!), and even more skins.
